With this experiment I tried to explore the expressiveness of paper, using already existing origami templates in a bigger scale. By releasing single pages from their books and folding them into appealing and interactive objects, a new narrative is generated. Two quotes from Italo Calvino’s If on a Winters Night a Traveler built the inspirational fundament for this work.
This project also refers to the power of imagination, and points out that sometimes not more than a few words or pages are needed to allow it full bend.

At the front and back of this description you can find Calvino’s quotes, made into two typographic posters for the Work in
Progress Show at Central Saint Martins in November 2012.
